Opdivo (nivolumab) can affect patients with kidney conditions. In clinical trials, acute kidney injury was reported as a serious adverse reaction in patients receiving Opdivo. Additionally, the most common adverse reactions related to Opdivo treatment included increased blood creatinine and decreased glomerular filtration rate, which are indicators of kidney function. Patients with pre-existing kidney conditions should be closely monitored during treatment with Opdivo.
